Foundation Builders
Many donors have contributed consistently over several years. Their generosity has helped to build the Foundation.
Foundation Builders are those who have contributed a cumulative total of $10,000 and more. See our Foundation Builders.
Powering Pain Free Movement Partners
In 2016 a major giving program was launched to enable donors to make significant and meaningful donations to support the COF and to create a solid base on which to grow the programs of orthopaedic research, education and care.
We recognize the corporations and individuals who have joined the Powering Pain Free Movement Campaign with donations of $5,000 and more.
See our Powering Pain Free Movement Partners.
Core Sustainers
Our Core Sustainers are monthly donors: generous surgeons, patients and friends who make a lasting and regular commitment of monthly gifts.
Dr. Geoffrey Johnston, Past Chair of the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation, encouraged surgeons to match his commitment of the equivalent of one consultation per month: typically, $89. See the list of those who have accepted Dr. Johnston’s challenge, some at the proposed “one consultation per month” and others at various levels.
Orthopaedic patients and their families and friends, too, are Core Sustainers with their regular commitment on a monthly basis. We are pleased to recognize them. See our Core Sustainers.
Lasting Legacy Leaders
Naming the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation in your will is a lasting tribute to support bone and joint health in Canada. We can help with suggested wording for your will, ensuring that your support of orthopaedic research and care will extend beyond your lifetime.
The COF is grateful to those who have remembered the COF with bequests.
See our Lasting Legacy Leaders.
Annual Surgeon Donors
The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation is the charitable foundation of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association (COA). Created by the COA, the Foundation works hard to advance orthopaedic research, education and care, supporting the work of Canada’s orthopaedic surgeons.
Each year the Foundation pays tribute to those surgeons who have contributed throughout the year by recognizing them at the Annual General Meeting of the COA. See our Annual Surgeon Donors.
Club 206 Donors
Our 206 bones and the joints that connect them make our lives of movement possible. All too often, we take that for granted. Club 206 Donors contribute $206 in recognition and in tribute to pain free movement in their 206 bones.
See our Club 206 Donors.
Event Sponsors
Supporters of our annual Bad to the Bone Charity Golf Classic help thousands of Canadians to cope with, and recover from, their orthopaedic journey, with an ultimate goal of regaining a quality, pain-free life with mobility and independence. See our Event Sponsors.
