Announcing New COF Research Award Recipients

The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has approved funding for the following research awards:

Community Innovation Award:

Dr. Ryan Katchky (Scarborough, ON) – “The Impact of a Community-Based Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgical Program on Access to Paediatric Orthopaedic Care – a Quality Improvement Initiative”

CSES Research Grant, in collaboration with the Canadian Shoulder and Elbow Society:

Dr. Devin Ferguson and Dr. Ivan Wong (Halifax, NS): “Latarjet vs Arthroscopic Anatomic Glenoid Reconstruction for Treatment of Anterior Shoulder Instability with Glenoid Bone Loss: a Prospective Multi-Centre Randomized Trial”

All applications were reviewed and ranked by the Foundation’s Research Review Panel.
