GIVE in support of pain-free mobility, a message from an Ortho Surgeon & COF Director

COF
Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation

Fall has arrived. Cooler days and nights and the changing of the leaves remind us of the seasons of life. As we soak in the beauty of this spectacular season, before the long winter, perhaps we appreciate the blessings of warm afternoons a little more than during the long summer. Life has a quality.

Quality of life is at the core of the work we do at the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation. Every one of us will face orthopaedic issues during our lifetime. When we, or those we love, need help to overcome and regain our quality of life, we count on having the best care available.

Since 1965, when the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation was founded, our mission has been to restore quality of life for Canadians. The advances have been staggering. Issues that used to condemn through injury, illness and defect are now routinely treated and corrected, restoring quality of life. Recoveries that used to take months, are now measured in weeks and days. Canadian researchers are renowned world-wide for their leadership in innovation that advances care for all.

All thanks to you.

Your support allows the Foundation to support the innovations that improve quality of life during all the seasons of life. There is still much to do of course. New challenges in paediatrics, trauma and for our aging population strain our system of care. New approaches are always demanded to meet them. Thanks to you, innovation continues.

Please take a moment to donate to our cause. Your support will help to ensure that the care you and yours will need will be there when you do.
