The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation raises money through public donations and invests those funds in programs to advance orthopaedic research, promote patient and public education, and improve community care.
Annually, the Foundation awards research grants and awards to orthopaedic researchers across the country. Since awarding its first research award in 1967, the Foundation has invested approximately $5.5 million in basic and clinical research in Canada. More About Research
The Foundation is committed to patient education and to providing patients and their families with accurate, up-to-date information that will make going through orthopaedic surgery a little easier and less frightening.
The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation is Canada’s only health charity dedicated solely to helping people build, maintain and restore their bone and joint health. We do this by raising and allocating funds for the research, education and care that help Canadians to live and move independently – longer and stronger.
